Award-winning South African DJ and producer Black Coffee is set to perform a one-off headline show at Beckenham Place Park this summer on the 11th of September 2022.

Presented by Krankbrother, the minds behind Naked City and RE-TEXTURED festival, and Metropolis Music will see Black Coffee play an extended set and will welcome friends and rising DJs to the stage who will be announced at a later date.

Earlier this month, Black Coffee made history as the first African to win the Grammy for the ‘Best Dance/Electronic Album’ for his seventh studio record, Subconsciously. Although renowned for championing afro house, Maphumulo has always refused to be pigeon-holed and has effortlessly sidestepped clichés with his dynamic and creative approach as he reimagines the boundaries of genre.

The pioneering DJ will bring his signature sound to the idyllic rolling grasslands of Beckenham Place Park, which is nestled amongst protected ancient woodland and a beautiful lake. The recently converted golf course in the heart of South London will boast two stages for the all-dayer.

National promoter Metropolis Music is committed to working with acts from their inception, helping to build their careers as touring artists in small concert venues through to stadiums. Metropolis Music is a part of Live Nation Entertainment (NYSE: LYV) which is the world’s leading live entertainment company comprised of global market leaders: Ticketmaster, Live Nation Concerts, and Live Nation Media & Sponsorship.
