Prolific Norwegian MC Ivan Ave, has just dropped his new single ‘Inthecut’, a collaboration with Manchester soul/hip-hop group Children of Zeus.
This single is the fifth single release from Ivan’s fourth studio album, All Season Gear, due to be released on 10th March via Oslo-based label Mutual Intentions.
Speaking on the track, Ivan Ave shares, “Inthecut came about when Mndsgn sent me a beat that I felt sounded like a CoZ collab. I put the idea to the guys and they delivered like they always do. The energy of the track is to me a testament to coming out of pandemic times with something more to offer still. We made it through what seemed like the end of so many music careers. And here we are still making the most of it, still going on tour, still in the cut doing the music thing our way.”
Alongside the drop of this new single, Ivan Ave has also announced his international ‘All Season Tour’, kicking off 24th March in Bergen, Norway. This tour will see Ivan visit various iconic European venues, including London’s Jazz Café, Barcelona’s Razzmatazz 3 and Amsterdam’s Paradiso, before finishing up in Oslo at Parkteatret.
