Barbour and C.P. Company Reconnect For Second Collaboration

British outwear label Barbour has revealed its second collaboration with Italian utility wear brand C.P. Company.

Exploring the search for innovation through tradition, the collection presents two new waxed jackets in five different colour ways, as well as 25 limited edition ‘re-loved’ Barbour jackets, crafted in South Shields to be made available through a charity raffle for World Land Trust.

The brand new collection merges C.P. Company’s military-inspired aesthetics with Barbour’s notorious waxed cotton fabric, most notable in the Barbour x C.P. Company Creel Wax Jacket which marries the design of Barbour’s Bedale wax jacket with C.P. Company’s Millie Jacket. Made with 8ox cotton, the jacket also boasts a detachable hood featuring C.P.’s signature watch lens and goggles, wrap-around flap pockets and an adjustable collar.

A highlight within the collection is the Barbour x C.P. Company TC Explorer Wax jacket which draws inspiration from the Italian brand’s classic Explorer Jacket — combining heritage fabrics such as 8oz waxed cotton with a sturdy two-way zipper extending all the way to the hood.

Speaking on the new collaboration, C.P. Company designer Paul Harvey states: “Working with Barbour is always a tremendous pleasure since the two brands have so much in common, but this time was especially good as we finally got to taste firsthand the Barbour experience on the shores of the North Sea. We think the resulting jackets reflect the closeness of the brands and also their shared integrity in everything they do.”

The Barbour x C.P. Company collaborative collection is down to release on October 19th through their respective official websites
