Andre Williams, aka Shy FX, has just released powerful new single “Gideon’s Charge” in collaboration with Mr. Williamz and featuring a spoken word intro by KINGH.
Accompanying the single is a set of captivating visuals directed by acclaimed creative Fenn O’Meally, known for her collaborations with high-profile artists and brands such as Kendrick Lamar, Louis Vuitton, and Jorja Smith. The video’s cinematic quality underscores the track’s profound narrative and Shy FX’s artistic vision.
This is the next single to be taken from Shy FX and Mr. Williamz’s highly-anticipated project Rudeboy Design Soundtape due for release June 7th via Shy’s very own label Digital Sound Boy. It includes the already-released single “Dance Haffi Nice” featuring fellow UK icon Ms. Dynamite.
Shy FX remarks on his upcoming project: “‘Gideon’s Charge’ — we’re making statements. This track, and the upcoming EP, are testaments to the enduring power of drum & bass and its ability to influence across cultures.”
Mr. Williamz adds: “’Gideon’s Charge’ represents a call to unity and strength. It’s about channelling the warrior spirit and pushing through the boundaries of music and culture.”
Shy will also be embarking on a slew of tour dates across summer including key dates at the likes of Glastonbury and Project 6, with special shows at Parklife and Boomtown promised, which will see special guests join him on stage.
