London producer Klein embraces harshness on surprise new album, marked.
The Dean Blunt/ Mica Levi/ MIKE collaborator’s brand new project, marked, is largely characterised by a slew of low-key, boundary-pushing compositions that glide between ambient drone, dinner-party jazz, doom metal and broken hip-hop beats. Consisting of seventeen tracks, the album is best suited to headphones in bed or a dark room and showcases Klein as a one of one within the avant-garde world.
