Environmentally friendly outdoors shoe brand KEEN have released a new iteration of its trademark Women’s Jasper shoe in collaboration with Highsnobiety.
The limited-edition Women’s Jasper x Highsnobiety sneaker comes as part of Highsnobiety’s latest ‘Not In New York (NINY)’ collection. Inspired by walking round New York City — glossy black leather, for uptown, and fuzzy pink suede, for downtown — both versions are united by the distinctive KEEN gum sole, a protective toe bumper, flexible traction outsole, and cushioning cork-latex footbed. Highsnobiety branding is also visible on the tongue and insole.
Speaking on the collaboration, KEEN’s senior product merchandising manager stated: “We sought materials never before seen on the Jasper, taking into account our theme of uptown and downtown to create a package that distinguishes itself from the original model. We approached the materials thematically, looking for a more laid-back style with uptown and a more distinguished box leather for downtown.”
The collaboration is available to purchase online via KEEN and Highsnobiety.
