London-based multi-hyphenate Jeshi has just unleashed his highly-anticipated second album AIRBAG WOKE ME UP.
The sophomore album is an electrifying exploration of resilience and renewal, capturing the chaos and boldness that emerge after tough times. Describing the album as his “real arrival chapter,” Jeshi embraces dynamism and raw energy, signalling a new phase in his career.
The LP is an unpredictable, genre-blending collection designed to provoke reactions and spark conversations. Drawing from his high-energy live performances, Jeshi pushes boundaries with a versatile vocal delivery that ranges from subtle to explosive. It also boasts production credits from Elijah Waters, Fredwave, Dom Valentino, JD. REID and JONAH, as well as features from a slew of respected artists from Sainté and Louis Culture to LEILAH.
Speaking on the release, Jeshi stated: “I love artists where every album defines a new period or part of their life – that was the inspiration thematically. Then with the music, I just wanted to make big-sounding songs.”
