Kiko Kostadinov x Asics Gel-Kiril III Drops Next Week

Kiko Kostadinov and Asics continue their long-standing partnership with the launch of the Gel-Kiril III.

Kiko Kostadinov and Asics team up once again for the launch of the Gel-Kiril III, a reinterpretation of Asics’ heritage in workwear and utility footwear. Building on the original Kiril design, this particular iteration emphasises functionality, via a raised TPU front and debossed patterns which blend texture and tone.

Unlike previous collaborations, the Gel-Kiril III draws inspiration from real-world experiences, merging Japanese workwear traditions with Kostadinov’s avant-garde style. The result is a versatile shoe that balances performance with everyday utility. The campaign, shot in Chiba, Japan, features real workers—Daisuke, Kenta, and Rikiya—constructing traditional scaffolding, highlighting the shoe’s connection to movement and resilience.

To celebrate the pre-release, activations are set to take place in Los Angeles on 21st February and London on 22nd February, with performances from the likes of Jade Guanaro Kuriki-Olivo, Patrick Belaga, and Bill Kouligas.

The Asics Gel-Kiril III will be available to purchase from 24th February via the Kiko Kostadinov webstore.
