Brian Eno returns to the art world with “Blocks”, a new series of over 400 original spray-painted wood panels set to debut at Paul Stolper Gallery, London.
Created over two days in his London studio, Eno used cut-out stencils and layers of vivid pigments, from metallic silvers to bright pinks and greens, to produce spontaneous, one-of-a-kind designs across birch plywood slabs. Each work, measuring roughly seven by five inches, captures a moment of experimentation, with compositions ranging from minimal gradients to vibrant geometric abstractions.
Priced at £500 each, and on view in London from 14th November to 17th January, the pieces reflect Eno’s lifelong fascination with chance, process and visual rhythm, extending the spirit of improvisation that has long defined his music.
