A year after his sold-out headline shows at London’s historic Bush Hall, West London rapper Bashy has released Being Poor is Expensive (Live Deluxe), a live recording of his award-winning album, available now across streaming platforms.
Alongside the release, Bashy has announced a two-part short film series on YouTube capturing the energy and emotion of the Bush Hall performances. Episode 1, arriving 14th November, offers a behind-the-scenes look at rehearsals and pre-show moments with friends, family and collaborators. Episode 2, out 21st November, features the full live performance, complete with a full band and guest appearances from Skrapz, Haile and Roses Gabor.
The original Being Poor is Expensive earned Bashy major acclaim, taking home MOBO Awards for Album of the Year and Best Hip Hop Act, as well as an Ivor Novello nomination for How Black Men Lose Their Smile.
