Puma Blue has shared “Hush”, the latest single from his upcoming album Croak Dream, due 6th February.
The latest track leans into shadowy trip-hop territory, pairing fractured drums with a wide, distorted atmosphere that continues the album’s slow-burn emotional arc. Following earlier singles “Desire” and the title track, “Hush” deepens the record’s fixation on vulnerability, regret and emotional self-protection, drawing inspiration from the idea of a reimagined, introspective Bond theme.
The single offers another glimpse into Croak Dream, Puma Blue’s third full-length, recorded to tape at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios alongside Sam Petts-Davies. The album builds on Allen’s evolution from London jazz-rooted beginnings to a broader sound that moves between trip-hop, electronic experimentation and stark songwriting, shaped by improvisation and fragmented memories.
Alongside this, Puma Blue has revealed an extensive world tour spanning North America, Asia and Europe. A special edition of the album will also be available, featuring sparkle vinyl, a bonus flexi disc and a set of signed Polaroids.
