Surf Gang founder and producer evilgiane has surprise-dropped a new instrumental album, Giane 2, out now via Surf Gang Records.
Arriving just days after his opening set at Snow Strippers’ sold-out Terminal 5 show in New York, the project follows 2022’s Giane and shifts focus away from rap toward his broader electronic instincts. Featuring contributions from Rue Jacobs and Clams Casino, Giane 2 moves freely between ambient, trance, bloghouse and braindance, reinforcing Giane’s genre-agnostic approach. The release lands mid-way through his run on Snow Strippers’ North American tour, capturing a moment of rapid creative momentum and expansion.
