Balenciaga has announced its first footwear collaboration with Manolo Blahnik, uniting two fashion houses linked by Spanish heritage and a shared reverence for craftsmanship.
Designed for Balenciaga’s Autumn/Winter 2026 collection under creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli, the project marks a significant crossover between Blahnik’s shoemaking legacy and Balenciaga’s modern luxury codes.
The capsule introduces three refined silhouettes crafted in silk satin: a low-heeled mule and a slingback offered in two heel heights, 50mm and 105mm. Drawing from selections in the Manolo Blahnik archive, the designs feature a décolleté cut that reveals the foot and crystal embroidery across the vamp, referencing Blahnik’s jewel-like approach to footwear and Cristóbal Balenciaga’s 1960s bijoux. Available in classic colourways including black and emerald green, each style is finished with Balenciaga-grey lining.
