Berlin-based artist Courtesy has released a new dance-focused rework of her cover of Olive’s 90s classic “You’re Not Alone”, featuring vocals from Erika de Casier.

Titled “You’re Not Alone (Dance Review)”, the new release marks the first entry in Dance Review Vol. 1, a new series revisiting Courtesy’s experimental and ambient catalogue through club-oriented reinterpretations. Co-produced with rush2theUnknown, the updated version contrasts with the original 2023 ambient recording, which featured keyboard contributions from August Rosenbaum. The track is out digitally and on CD via Courtesy’s platform Against Interpretation Club.

To mark the release, Courtesy will host an Against Interpretation Club party on 30th January at OHM Berlin, with DJ sets from Cezinando, Eline, Richard Sides (as dj vodka) and Courtesy herself.
