james K’s third album Friend is set to receive a full remix release featuring contributions from Objekt, Drew McDowall (Coil), Hesaitix (M.E.S.H), Roza Terenzi, Arushi Jain, Special Guest DJ, Priori, JASSS, Yushh and Loidis.
Released via AD 93, the remix project lands digitally and on CD on 24th April 2026, reworking the critically acclaimed record through a wide spectrum of experimental club and electronic perspectives. To mark the announcement, james K has shared two cuts from the package: Objekt’s “Play” remix, his first in over a decade, and JASSS’ industrial-leaning “N’balmed (Purple Mix)”.
Speaking on the release, james K explained: “Friends remix Friend. It is such a sweet honor to have my friends and collaborators, whose work has inspired mine, interpret and translate this work into new narratives.”
The album has also fuelled an ongoing international tour, including a sold-out Barbican date in April and upcoming shows across Europe and the US.
