London’s ICA Announces April-June 2026 Programme Highlights

London’s Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) has announced highlights from its April–June 2026 programme, spanning exhibitions, film, live music, performance and talks.

In the Lower Gallery, Genuine Fake Premium Economy brings together Jenna Bliss, Buck Ellison and Jasmine Gregory in an exhibition examining post-financial-crash myths of fairness and progress through works that satirise and restage the “real.” The Upper Galleries will host a presentation of paintings from Arca’s Angels series in April, followed in June by a collaborative film and sound installation from Valentin Noujaïm and Space Afrika.

The cinema programme includes retrospectives and festivals such as Long Takes: Nothing But Life: The Cinema of Rita Azevedo Gomes, alongside the return of Open City Documentary Festival and Queer East Festival. The ICA’s Off-Circuit strand will continue to platform underseen contemporary films through UK and London premieres.

Live programming on the ICA Stage will feature experimental music and soundtrack performances, including sets from By Storm, Juana Molina as part of NTS Radio’s 15-year celebrations, and new soundtrack work from Laurel Halo for a film by Julian Charrière.

Talks and engagement events will include book launches, screening-led conversations and performance-based formats, alongside ongoing initiatives including Youth Forum, a new residency with Visible Justice, and the launch of the ICA Artist Development Residency with Maite De Orbe.
