Bang & Olufsen has teamed up with Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment Design for a new limited-edition collaboration that reworks four of the Danish audio brand’s most recognisable products.
The collection applies Fragment’s signature monochrome aesthetic across the Beosound A1 portable speaker, Beoplay H100 headphones, Beosound Shape wall system and the Beosystem 9000c. Each piece pairs black finishes with Bang & Olufsen’s precision-milled aluminium, with select products receiving a newly developed anodising and hand-polishing process that creates a glossy, liquid-like surface.
Fragment’s double lightning bolt branding appears throughout, including on the H100 ear cup and beneath the A1 grille. The Beosound Shape arrives in a seven-tile configuration mixing black and grey fabric in a flower-like layout, while the Beosystem 9000c is presented alongside Beolab 28 speakers and a Beoremote One, combining matte black with polished aluminium detailing.
The collection will debut exclusively at a dedicated pop-up inside Isetan Department Store in Shinjuku, Tokyo, from 20th–26th May. Follwed by availability across Japan from 27th May and a global release on 3rd June.
