JW Anderson has announced its first collaboration with Italian sportswear label Diadora, reworking the brand’s archival Equipe trainer.
Originally introduced in 1975 as a performance running shoe for elite athletes, the Equipe returns for AW26 in a JW Anderson update, released in four bold colourways selected by Jonathan Anderson, Green Night, Navy Peony, Empire Red and Princess Blue.
The unisex sneaker keeps its slim profile and heritage detailing, including a swallowtail toe and heel-wrapping outsole, while adding co-branded hardware and laces. Made in Italy in Montebelluna’s historic footwear district, the project highlights a shared focus on craftsmanship and functional design.
The collaboration was first revealed in JW Anderson’s AW26 lookbook and is supported by a campaign fronted by actor Conor Sánchez, photographed by Sammy Khoury.
