A BATHING APE and KidSuper have reunited for a second collaboration, unveiling the SUPERBAPE CUP Collection to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the iconic BAPE STA sneaker.
Inspired by the global spirit of football, the collection features 48 unique BAPE STA colourways, each representing a different nation and reinterpreted through KidSuper founder Colm Dillane’s distinctive artistic lens. Crafted in BAPE’s signature patent leather, the designs combine bold national colours with co-branded detailing, highlighting the partnership’s shared focus on creativity, individuality and cultural exchange.
Marking the milestone beyond footwear, the accompanying campaign spotlights 48 grandmothers from each represented country, celebrating heritage, identity and the people who carry culture across generations. Through a series of portraits, the project explores themes of belonging and unity while reflecting football’s power to connect communities around the world.
Ten selected colourways, including designs inspired by Argentina, Brazil, England, France, Ghana, Japan, Mexico, Portugal, Spain and the United States, will launch on June 11th at KidSuper and selected BAPE STORE locations, with all 48 styles set to be available through a later online pre-order release.
