GENER8ION have unveiled long-awaited album Love & Tears, alongside VISIONS OF 2034, an immersive exhibition held at London’s 180 Studios.
The multidisciplinary project, created by filmmaker Romain Gavras and producer Surkin, expands GENER8ION’s ambitious audiovisual universe, merging music, film, dance and installation art into a single narrative experience. Featuring contributions from Yung Lean, 070 Shake, Adèle Castillon and Foals frontman Yannis Philippakis, alongside appearances from actress Charlize Theron and choreographer Damien Jalet, Love & Tears brings together a wide-ranging cast of artists across ten interconnected tracks and visuals exploring the raw emotions and disorientation of GENER8ION’s universe through a near-future lens set in 2034.
The accompanying ‘VISIONS OF 2034’ exhibition premiered the album in its entirety through a series of multimedia installations at 180 Studios in London, presenting unseen footage and alternative scenes from the project’s visual world. The event marked a major milestone for GENER8ION, further cementing the duo’s reputation as one of the most innovative creative forces operating across music and contemporary art.
