Nia Archives has teamed up with Jorja Smith for “Get Me Down”, the fourth single from her forthcoming album Emotional Junglist, due 17th July via Islands Records.

Crafted around driving jungle rhythms and heavy basslines, the track pairs Nia Archive’s signature alt-jungle production with Jorja Smith’s soulful delivery. The accompanying video, co-directed by Nia Archives and longtime collaborator Jay Douglas, places the pair in a futuristic, silver-toned club setting as they perform and dance through the track.

Speaking on the collaboration, Jorja Smith explained: “I loved working with Nia in the studio; it was so inspiring watching her work. Find plug ins, mess around with my vocal. I’m such a fan of hers!!”

The collaboration follows Nia Archives’ recent singles “Danger”, “Boys In Blue” and “Vertical”, all previewing an album that explores love and heartbreak. Developed alongside collaborators including James Ford, Ethan P. Flynn and Julia Michaels, Emotional Junglist expands Nia’s sound, with an additional contribution from Sampha.

The release also arrives ahead of Nia Archives’ upcoming six-date UK back-to-back tour, which will feature appearances from Clipz, Chimpo, Sexy Lady Massive and members of the Up Ya Archives collective.
