Dr. Martens has partnered with MHL. by Margaret Howell for the first time, reimagining the iconic 1461 derby shoe.
Handcrafted at Dr. Martens’ Made in England factory in Northamptonshire, the collaboration updates the classic silhouette with chrome-free grained oiled leather from Leeds tannery C.F. Stead, available in black and dark brown. The premium leather is designed to develop a natural patina over time, while subtle details including a padded heel collar, leather heel tab and flat cotton laces reinforce the shoe’s understated aesthetic.
Celebrating shared values of craftsmanship, durability and functional design, the collaboration is accompanied by a campaign shot by photographer Kuba Ryniewicz, highlighting the manufacturing process and the heritage behind both British brands.
