Sega Bodega has released a live-recorded version of “Deer Teeth”, captured during his performance at Hackney Church in June as part of SXSW London.
The release coincides with the announcement of a live EP, out 9th September, featuring reimagined versions of previously released tracks alongside unheard material, with appearances from KUKII and Mayah Alkhateri, all recorded during the same show. “Deer Teeth” features flautist Ludo Pear, who joined Sega Bodega on stage for a moment described by The London Standard as the set’s emotional peak.
The live version builds on Sega Bodega’s 2025 album I Created The Universe So That Life Could Create a Language So Complex, Just To Say How Much I Love You, continuing his focus on expansive, cinematic composition.
