XL Recordings has announced a 30th anniversary 12″ vinyl edition of The Prodigy’s “Breathe”, out 13th November, ahead of the track’s anniversary on 11th November.
The release includes the original track, an instrumental version, and remixes by The Glitch Mob and Mefjus & Camo & Krooked.
“Breathe” was the second single from The Prodigy’s album The Fat of the Land, giving the band their second consecutive UK number one following “Firestarter”, which received its own anniversary vinyl release earlier this year. Its Walter Stern-directed video won Viewer’s Choice at the 1997 MTV Video Music Awards.
The Fat of the Land went on to sell over 10 million copies worldwide and turns 30 in July 2027. This year, The Prodigy hosted four Warriors Dance events across the UK and Ireland, and are currently touring the US ahead of a run of European headline dates beginning 14th November, followed by festival appearances in summer 2027 including Creamfields and Rock am Ring/Rock im Park.
