BIRKENSTOCK has teamed up with filmmaker and creative director Cole Bennett for a new Boston clog collaboration, marking the shoe’s 50th anniversary since its introduction in 1976.
The design reworks the Boston in off-white wool felt with a microfibre lining, finished with a custom crescent moon buckle in antique dark copper. The felt varies in length, density and tone across the shoe, while the original anatomically shaped cork-latex footbed remains unchanged.
Bennett first appeared in BIRKENSTOCK’s Birkenstories documentary series in 2018, marking the beginning of a near decade-long relationship with the brand that has now led to this, his first product collaboration with Birkenstock.
