The EP will also feature remixes from Berghain resident Barker and Grand River

German electronic collective Tangerine Dream have released a music video for ‘Raum’, a Single Edit release taken from their upcoming EP, ‘Probe 6-8’.
The EP, due to come out on November 26th through Kscope/Eastgate Music, will feature Berghain resident Barker and Grand River. ‘Raum’ single will drop digitally on November 12th.
The video is a Super 8 film documenting the group’s production process at their Berlin Neukölln studio.
The last material we heard from the group came in 2017 with ‘Quantum Gate’ – their best-selling album since 1987. Tangerine Dream’s next LP, set for release in early 2022, will be their second since the passing of the group’s founder, Edgar Froese.
The upcoming EP sources Edgar Froese’s 1977-2013 archive. All of its tracks, despite being compositions made by the remaining band members, have been directly influenced by Froese’s Cubase arrangements and Otari Tape material.
According to the band, their new tracks “cannot exactly be re-created for a live performance – a direct response to the many shows which had to be cancelled in the last months.”
