Nike has unveiled “Why Do It?”—a bold new campaign that reintroduces the brand’s iconic “Just Do It” ethos to a new generation.
Framing greatness as a choice rather than an outcome, the initiative challenges young athletes to take the first step, even when failure feels daunting. The launch film features global stars including LeBron James, Carlos Alcaraz, Rayssa Leal, Saquon Barkley and Qinwen Zheng, highlighting the raw, unfiltered side of sport.
Nike positions the campaign as both a recommitment to its founding belief—that sport is for everyone—and an invitation for today’s athletes to embrace courage, resilience and self-belief. Since its debut in 1988, “Just Do It” has transcended advertising to become a cultural rallying cry. With “Why Do It?”, Nike aims to carry that spirit forward, inspiring the next chapter of sport worldwide.
