Netflix has announced One Shot with Ed Sheeran, a new one-take music experience directed by Emmy Award–winner Philip Barantini (Adolescence).
Premiering globally on 21st November, the special follows Sheeran through the streets of New York City as he performs impromptu renditions of his biggest hits for fans and unsuspecting passersby — all filmed in a single continuous take.
Barantini, known for his ambitious long-shot format in Adolescence, brings the same unbroken-eye approach to Sheeran’s project, which is produced by Fulwell Entertainment and Emmy-winning producer Ben Winston. Netflix has released a first-look image, teasing the unique blend of live performance and cinematic immersion that the one-take format promises.
