Cecilie Bahnsen Teams Up With ‘A Magazine Curated By’ For Issue 29

Copenhagen-based designer Cecilie Bahnsen has teamed up with “A Magazine Curated By” for its 29th issue, offering an intimate look into her poetic and feminine world.

Widely renown for her modern reinterpretation of femininity and signature romantic silhouettes, Bahnsen brings her vision to print in an edition that celebrates women, creativity and connection. The issue features contributions from longtime collaborators and friends, including a conversation between Carla Sozzani and Sara Maino on nurturing creativity, and a heartfelt photo series of Bahnsen and her son during their first trip to Tokyo, captured by Fumiko Imano. Model Freja Beha Erichsen also steps behind the lens to share a personal perspective.

A standout story spotlights deconstructed The North Face archive pieces, reimagined in Bahnsen’s Copenhagen studio and photographed by Pia Riverola in the Himalayas. Blending craftsmanship, memory and intimacy, the issue reflects Bahnsen’s enduring themes of timeless design, intergenerational bonds and the quiet power of everyday beauty.
