A24 has released a new official trailer for Eternity, a fantasy romance written and directed by David Freyne (The Cured)—arriving next month.
The film, starring Elizabeth Olsen, Miles Teller, Callum Turner, Da’Vine Joy Randolph and John Early, is set in a metaphysical afterlife where souls have one week to choose where they’ll spend eternity. It follows Joan (Olsen) as she faces an impossible decision between Larry (Teller)—the husband she shared a lifetime with—and Luke (Turner), her first love who died young and has waited decades for her arrival.
The film premiered at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival, where it received strong early reviews and currently holds a Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Freyne co-wrote the screenplay with Pat Cunnane, with Trevor White and Tim White producing. It opens in American theatres on 27th November.
