Apple TV has unveiled the first full trailer for Pluribus, the new series from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul creator Vince Gilligan, offering a haunting first look at the show’s unnervingly cheerful dystopia, out 7th November.
Set in a world where humanity appears perfectly content—except for one woman—Rhea Seehorn stars as Carol Sturka, “the most miserable person on Earth,” tasked with saving the planet from a mysterious “happiness epidemic.” The trailer teases a sinister twist beneath the surface, smiling citizens cleaning up catastrophe, streets filled with wreckage, and an ever-watchful crowd desperate to make Carol “join” their joy.
Described by Apple TV as “a genre-bending original in which the most miserable person on Earth must save the world from happiness,” Pluribus reunites Gilligan and Seehorn following their acclaimed collaboration on Better Call Saul. The series also stars Karolina Wydra, Carlos-Manuel Vesga, Miriam Shor, and Samba Schutte and is produced by Sony Pictures Television.
