Nike And Palace Open Manor Place, A Multi-Purpose Cultural Hub

Nike and Palace Skateboards have joined forces to launch Manor Place, a new creative and community hub in South London.

Housed in a restored 1895 sporting venue, the landmark project reimagines the space as a free, open-access centre celebrating sport, art, and culture, spanning three zones, The Park and The Cage, The Front Room and The Residency. The Park features a world-class concrete skatepark, echoing iconic London spots like Southbank and Stockwell, built directly above an underground football cage that rises for matches and community tournaments.

Speaking on the venture, Lev Tanju, Co-Founder and Creative Director of Palace stated: “We had an idea of creating a large space for the community that would be about skateboarding and sport, and a space you could generally hang out in. When we spoke about the project, we knew Nike was the only brand in the world that could make something like this happen. We want Manor Place to be something positive for London, a city that has given us so much, and we’re really excited to give something back.”

The Front Room serves as an exhibition and retail space, opening with a photography showcase by Alasdair McLellan and rotating installations every few weeks. The Residency provides free nine-month studio spaces for six emerging London creatives, offering them a platform to develop and exhibit their work.

The launch also debuts the partners’ first co-branded apparel range, the P90 collection, a nod to early-2000s football culture. The line blends Palace’s streetwear aesthetic with Nike’s sporting heritage across shell suits, jerseys, trainers and graphic tracksuits featuring the Palace Tri-Ferg and layered Swoosh logo.
