Take A Look At The Official Trailer For ‘How To Make A Killing’

A24 has unveiled the first trailer for How to Make a Killing, a dark new crime thriller led by Glen Powell and set to land in cinemas this February.

The film marks the latest project from John Patton Ford, the writer-director behind Emily the Criminal. Powell fronts the story as Becket Redfellow, a working-class outsider cast out by his enormously wealthy family at birth. When he decides to reclaim the inheritance he was denied, Becket launches into a ruthless mission that places every surviving relative in his path at risk. Along the way, he reconnects with an old acquaintance, played by Margaret Qualley, who hints that the Redfellow family’s sudden string of deaths may not be as mysterious as they seem.

The ensemble cast includes Jessica Henwick, Bill Camp, Zach Woods, Topher Grace and Ed Harris. The film draws loose inspiration from the 1949 classic Kind Hearts and Coronets and Roy Horniman’s 1907 novel Israel Rank: The Autobiography of a Criminal, reimagining the tale as a contemporary, razor-sharp thriller.
