Bang & Olufsen is marking its near-century legacy with a new book that reflects on the people and philosophy behind the Danish audio brand.
Founded in a farmhouse in Struer by Peter Bang and Svend Olufsen, the company built its reputation on the belief that technology should unite performance and beauty, a principle that continues to define its sculptural speakers, refined headphones and design-led approach to sound.
Still headquartered in Struer, Bang & Olufsen remains rooted in its original values, celebrating long-term dedication and precision through initiatives such as its in-house Wall of Fame, which honours employees with 25 years of service. The publication captures this heritage, focusing on the human stories, design integrity and enduring aesthetic that have shaped the brand into a global symbol of acoustic innovation.
The book is written by Rosecrans Baldwin, the California Book Award–winning author of Everything Now, alongside several acclaimed works of nonfiction and fiction.
