James Blake has shared a new live video for “Death of Love”, directed by Harrison & Adair and filmed alongside the London Welsh Men’s Choir in a stark, office-style setting.
The track is set to appear on Blake’s upcoming album Trying Times, due 13th March via Good Boy Records. The forthcoming LP sees Blake exploring the emotional tension between connection and isolation, capturing the unease of modern life through intimate songwriting and restrained production.
The album follows a celebrated run that includes Assume Form (2019) and Friends That Break Your Heart (2021), and arrives as Blake continues to shape contemporary music as both a solo artist and collaborator. A GRAMMY-winning producer and songwriter, Blake’s influence spans work with artists including Beyoncé, Frank Ocean, Kendrick Lamar and SZA, alongside recent collaborations with Dave and composer Ludwig Göransson.
