Studio Nicholson and Perfumer H have joined forces on a collaborative project titled “SOAP”, uniting the design ethos of Studio Nicholson founder Nick Wakeman with the olfactory expertise of perfumer Lyn Harris.
At the centre of the collaboration is SOAP Eau de Parfum, a clean, skin-adjacent scent built around cardamom, white pepper, aldehydes and orange flower, grounded by soft musks, ambrox and tonka. Designed to evoke the feel of freshly laundered fabric worn close to the body, the fragrance is joined by SOAP Incense, produced in Japan by traditional incense makers who also supply Buddhist temples.
Complementing the scent is a three-piece capsule inspired by Harris’s everyday uniform, comprising an Italian cotton shirt, tailored twill trousers and a blue “SOAP” baseball cap. Together, the project reflects the brands’ mutual commitment to craftsmanship and detail, with SOAP set to become Studio Nicholson’s signature in-store fragrance.
