Margaret Howell Shares Autumn/Winter 2026 Collection

Margaret Howell has unveiled its Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, continuing the label’s focus on understated British design and refined craftsmanship.

The new season centres on relaxed silhouettes and softened tailoring, combining utilitarian influences with elevated natural fabrics. Knitwear remains a key element, with soft wool fisherman jumpers, merino-cashmere stripe knits and updated Fair Isle designs forming the backbone of the offering.

Shirting also takes a prominent role. The brand has opened a new Margaret Howell London Workroom, where a dedicated team will produce shirts using the same techniques that have defined the label for more than five decades. From Autumn 2026, the first pieces made at the facility will arrive in Margaret Howell stores featuring a special London Workroom label.

Elsewhere, tailoring is stripped back to functional essentials, including unstructured wool blazers, tapered wool-cotton trousers and a minimalist Barathea tuxedo. Dresses and skirts introduce hand-tacked pleats and archive-inspired details, while outerwear highlights heritage fabrics through gabardine macs, Melton coats and a shearling design. The collection is finished with accessories such as lambswool hats, textured scarves and leather belts.
