Following the release of her acclaimed mixtape The Elephant and a sold-out UK headline tour, Ledbyher has shared new single, “SNOW ON THE TABLE”.
Blending nu-wave jerk, alt-R&B and her self-described “lady trap” sound, the track pairs a nostalgic Craig David sample with introspective lyrics exploring the emotional cost of success. Moving between vulnerability and defiance, Ledbyher reflects on loneliness while balancing it with unwavering ambition.
Speaking on the single, Ledbyher explained: “‘Snow On The Table exists’ in a lot of snowy worlds for me. I wanted it to feel like a song you can cry in the club to but also start the party with. I feel like Craig always seemed to travel that line really well. He made you feel things without being so explicit about the emotion, so I tried to honour him too in this! Visually, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe from The Chronicles of Narnia was what I went for, created my own snow table and dressed up like the White Witch because … who else?”
