Lexie Liu has shared her new EP POP GIRLS CLUB, featuring collaborations with K-pop star Yves, BAYLI and Isabella Lovestory.
The EP was created over the course of a year with collaborators based across South Korea, North America and New York, including Yves, Isabella Lovestory and BAYLI, each bringing their own perspective to the project. The lead single with Yves blends the two artist’s distinctive styles, exploring identity and connection while celebrating the diversity of modern pop through a cross-cultural partnership.
Speaking on the release, Lexie explained: “Pop Girl has always been about embracing contradiction; you can feel confident and insecure all at once. These remixes celebrate that idea from different perspectives and hopefully everyone can find a version that speaks to them. I wanted each artist to have the freedom to reinterpret it in their own way. I was excited to hear what “Pop Girl” sounded like through their lens. Yves, Isabella Lovestory and Bayli all have such distinct artistic identities, and they’re genuinely artists I listen to and admire myself. As a fan, it was really fun to hear their voices inside the “Pop Girl” universe.”
