In-demand Irish DJ and producer Saoirse has shared “Boombox”, her second release via CHAOS/Polydor.
Produced around a rolling groove, swung percussion and warped electronic textures, the track takes a playful, off-kilter approach to tech-house. It follows debut single “Body Movement”, which marked a renewed focus on production for Saoirse after two decades as a DJ, with the new track continuing to bring that experience into the studio.
Speaking on the release Saoirse explained: “Boombox is a moody little tech-house number with a slight extraterrestrial edge. It’s got a lot of swing and a weird personality. Very playful and a little wonky, just like me.”
