Dublin collective Bricknasty have announced their new EP, forever, out 4th November via FAMM, alongside new single “the dom perignons”.
Written in just a few weeks, the seven-track record is the band’s most direct and hook-driven work to date, drawing on dance, contemporary R&B, trad folk, jazz and hip hop while pairing bigger choruses and sharper crescendos with their experimental approach. “The dom perignons” layers sweeping strings over early-2000s R&B and hip hop textures, with shimmering synths adding an electronic pulse. It follows earlier singles “bobinov” and “honey bee”, released this summer.
Speaking on the single, Fatboy explained: “Before, we made it rocket science, but it’s not rocket science. It’s easy – just nice riffs, nice parts”.
The EP follows the band’s 2025 project BLACKS LAW, which earned praise from Rolling Stone UK, Dazed, The Observer and CRACK, and was recently nominated for an AIM award. Bricknasty have since toured North America twice and played festivals including All Points East, Way Out West and Forbidden Fruit, with forever shaped by the experience of performing live.
