Acclaimed producer and multi-disciplinary artist Dpat has released “coda”, the second track from his first batch of solo music in five years.
The Texas-born, Colombian-heritage producer, whose real name is David Patino, follows recent release “Days of Heaven” with an electronic-led, cinematic club record built on glistening synths and distorted vocals, nodding to Faithless and William Orbit. It arrives with a stunning video directed by Adrian Villagomez, shot on location in Huaros, Canta and Lima in Peru, following the story of a young couple.
Dpat is a Grammy-nominated producer known for his work with The Weeknd, Jorja Smith and Wizkid, and as a founding member and creative director of the Sonder collective alongside Brent Faiyaz and Atu. “coda” builds anticipation for his upcoming second album.
