London producer and DJ Shy One has announced her new album Mali, due 12th March via South London label Touching Bass.

The news arrives alongside lead single “I Can Tell”, featuring West London vocalist George Riley. Playful yet commanding, “Can Tell” highlights Shy One’s forward-thinking production style, pairing fluid club rhythms with Riley’s sharp songwriting and expressive vocals. The collaboration sets the tone for Mali, a record named after Shy One’s given name and described as a personal reset, both sonically and mentally, as she leans fully into a sound that reflects her instincts and identity.

Spanning ten tracks, the album draws from the lineage of Black British electronic music, weaving house, techno, broken beat, dub and rap into an experimental but cohesive whole. Guest appearances include Steve Spacek, Private Joy and poet James Massiah, further anchoring Mali as a statement of evolution from an artist shaped by London’s pirate radio culture and its ever-expanding club underground.
