One of electronic music’s most distinctive voices, Logic1000, has today released her second album, Confirmation!, via Therapy/Because Music.
The album follows her debut, Mother, and last year’s DJ-Kicks mix, moving between the club-ready sound of her early work and the more reflective tone explored on DJ-Kicks, incorporating trip-hop, big beat, ’80s synth-pop and leftfield electronica. It features collaborations with Christine and the Queens, Jam City, FAUZIA, yunè pinku, KUČKA and Tiffi M. Where Mother documented becoming a parent, Logic1000 has described Confirmation! as centred on self-acceptance, drawing its title from the religious sacrament as a symbol of affirmation and self-trust.
Speaking on the LP, Logic1000 explained: “I’ve realised that being ‘confirmed’ isn’t about arriving at a final version of yourself. It’s about feeling aligned with who you are today, while knowing you’ll continue to grow. It’s about having faith in yourself.”
Logic1000 will appear at the Because Music event at ADE on 21st October, followed by two headline shows in 2027, at La Boule Noire in Paris on 6th March and ICA in London on 27th March, with tickets on sale here.
